Rich will ride his bicycle through the entire district; which includes Brigantine, Absecon, Galloway Township and Port Republic. The event will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 19-21. The ride starts Friday evening in Brigantine and finishes in Galloway Township on Sunday evening. Stops on the route include community events, points of interest, new commercial developments and dining stops at area restaurants and community functions. Along the way the candidate will participate in a beach clean-up in Brigantine, present a new bicycle and helmet to the Toys for Tots drive in Galloway, visit the famous Chestnut Neck Battle Monument in Port Republic and greet shoppers at supermarkets in Absecon. In addition to highlighting the wide variety of sites in the towns and meeting the constituents, the tour is meant to highlight the importance of physical fitness in our society, an issue very important to Rich. For route information click here
